I’m sitting in a coffee shop in Uganda after an incredible weekend and a great week ahead of wrapping up some shooting for “Shake the Dust.” I’ll be brief, but I wanted to share a few exciting things with you that have all.
1) GOOD 100 – I’m honored to have been included in this years “GOOD 100.” Each year, GOOD magazine selects one hundred people that are working to make the world a better place. I was selected this year as one of their “storytellers.” Check it out here.
2) I recently became a brand ambassador for one of my favorite companies, Oliberté. Oliberté produces premium footware – made in Africa. I’m so excited for what they’re doing in creating great jobs in Ethiopia with fair wages and a quality product using materials from the continent. Check out my ambassador profile here and then go buy a pair here.

3) One of my favorite clients, Warby Parker, (and favorite places to buy eyeware) recently invited me in for an all-staff speaker series. It was fun to get to hang with the crew there and speak to them about “Shake the Dust” and the art of story-telling. Check out the blog post here.
4) In working with Warby Parker over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with one of their primary partners, VisionSpring. I recently put together a piece for them that their founder, Jordan Kassalow, shared at a TED talk (below).
